Development of the Trials of Acheron Role-Playing Game began in 1993 with the first play-testing beginning in late 1994. By early 1996, the first rule book was completed, followed by our first official publication in the spring of 1998.

Since then, Trials of Acheron has undergone more than a decade of play-testing by various groups and Game Masters of all ages around the United States. This quality time of play-testing culminated in a second official publication of the Trials of Acheron in 2019 with three additional books compiled and published in 2022 and 2023.

Today, Anubis Publishing has four books encapsulating an entire role-playing system as well as an in-depth look into the realm of Acheron and the extended world.
